Aase Haugen residents invite area children to an Easter Egg Hunt
Aase Haugen Senior Services residents will be hosting an Easter Egg hunt for community children on Monday, April 21, at 11 a.m. at the nursing home located on Ohio Street in Decorah.
The Easter Bunny, volunteers, and staff will be on hand to escort the children as they hunt around the building for eggs filled with treats and prizes. Afterward, children are invited inside to do their ‘egg cracking’ and to greet residents. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for photos as well! The event will take place rain or shine.
West Union Volunteer Firefighters Annual Pancake Supper
The West Union Volunteer Firefighters will be holding their 48th annual Pancake Supper Fundraiser April 24th from 5 to 8:30 pm at the West Union fire station located at 212 S Vine St in West Union. The event is a free will donation and proceeds will be used for fire personnel gear and equipment throughout the year. Dine in or carry out is available. We hope to see you there.
